Beyond the stage

The Human Behind the Microphone

When I'm not speaking, coaching, or advising organizations, you'll often find me searching for my next great thrift store find. In fact, one of my personal goals is to thrift as many of my speaking outfits as possible.

I'm drawn to water. While I don't currently live near it, every vacation I plan seems to revolve around a beautiful view, a shoreline, or a place where I can hear the waves and put my toes in the sand.

I love learning. Give me a leadership book, a psychology podcast, or a conversation about how our brains work, and I'm all in. In another life, I probably would have studied psychology. Understanding why people think, feel, and behave the way they do continues to fascinate me.

A sunset, good music, and a patio with people I care about is pretty close to my definition of a perfect evening.

Most of all, I believe we only get one life. While I'm certainly a work in progress, I try to remind myself each day to be present, stay curious, and make the most of the time I've been given.

what i believe

Why I Do This Work

Over the years, I've had the privilege of working alongside leaders and organizations navigating growth, change, and complexity. Along the way, I noticed something that fundamentally changed how I think about leadership.

Many leaders are carrying more than anyone realizes.

They're supporting teams, making difficult decisions, navigating uncertainty, and trying to care for everyone around them while wondering how to sustain it all.

That realization became the foundation of my work.

Today, I help leaders build greater clarity, confidence, and resilience, not by asking them to do more, but by helping them lead differently.

I believe the future of leadership is mindful and well, and we're all shaping what that future looks like.

What I Bring to Every Engagment

Organizations trust me because I bring together years of leadership experience, research-informed expertise, and a practical approach that helps people create meaningful change.

  • 15+ Years of Leadership Experience

I've spent more than 15 years partnering with leaders and organizations through strategic planning, organizational change, leadership development, and executive coaching. My work has spanned higher education, healthcare, nonprofits, and business, giving me a broad perspective on what leaders need to thrive.

  • Research-Informed and Practical

My work is grounded in both experience and evidence. I hold a Master of Arts in Leadership & Management, am a PROSCI® Certified Change Management Practitioner, and a Certified Brain-Based Coach through the NeuroLeadership Institute. Every keynote and leadership experience blends practical application with research-backed strategies.

  • Recognized for Leadership & Impact

I'm honored to have been recognized as a 2026 Woman of Influence and a 2025 Corridor Business Journal Forty Under 40 honoree. I'm also a contributing author to the international anthology She Heals. While these recognitions are meaningful, what matters most to me is helping leaders create lasting impact in their organizations and communities.
